That's me.
Whenever there's something interesting (from a French point of view) going on in the US, I get a call from the local radio station for an interview.
What did I say?
Well, let's just say, and the two (yes, there are only two of you) Republicans in my life are really going to appreciate this, I broadcast the Democrat love all over Laval.

So what I would hear is blah blah blah.
you might want to add another republican to your list. . .I'm not a total republican, but I keep getting further and further away from the democratic party. . .sorry!
Zeb - you should be used to hearing blah blah blah - that's all Bush has said for the past 7 years.
Beth - How on earth, with Bush as president, could you be moving anywhere other than away from what he represents?
I did not say I am a fan of Bush, I'm just moving more and more away from the Democratic party - I feel that today's democratic party is not the same as it was years ago, and myself and most of my friends are pulling away from it.
Beth - towards what? A party that Bush represents?
Nicole-sucks when your friends leave your side for the correct side. Beth has always been one of my favorites.
Beth-stay strong
Nicole-let the Bush thing go he is a short termer he is not the future. You should hear the nonsense coming out of your 2 favorite democrats-garbage!!
Zeb. Beth. WTF. Not the same as what? Can you be a bit more specific? Not focused on domestic social programs? Not segregationist? Not for balanced budgets? Not willing to raise taxes? Not hawkish on foriegn policy? Clarify what it is that today's party represents that is not up your alley.
Garbage? There may be the standard background political wish-wash to focus on, but if you think that what ANY of the Democratic candidates is saying is more trash-worthy than ANY of the Disney-inspired Republicans. . .let's just say I don't think you and I would agree on much of ANYTHING. WOW! I didn't think the unwavering "30%" would be so close at hand.
Anonymous- I have no idea if we would agree on anything but my guess is you are probably right. Since I have known Beth and Nicole both since birth I am just having fun with my sisters comments. I don't think this is the place to get into lengthy debates over candidates or policies.
A quote from a great movie:
"Lighten up Francis"
Sorry to dissapoint you, but after watching the primarys last night - I agree with more of what the republicans stand for. That being said, I honestly do not like Bush or how he has handled his presidency - if he were running again, I would not vote for him, but, luckily he's not. I'm not knowledgable enough in politics to debate issues with you - I;m only going off of what I am hearing in the primarys.
anonymous - I'm not going to get into a heated debate with you.
Zeb - thanks!!
Nicole - dont' worry - I'm not a card carrying republican!! and my last entry was because I thought you wrote the anonymous comments - but after re-reading your blog, I realized that they were from anonymous - sorry - I'm tired because I have a sinus infection that won't go away!
personally, i'm very impressed by the guy who believes in adam and eve and suchlike. he'd get my vote if i were american :o)

Whoo to the hoo!
Which, I should clarify, was in response to your celebrity and not the other nonsense.
Ha. I was working in Saint-Malo for the summer in 1998 when news broke about Ms. Lewinski's infamous blue dress. All of a sudden every single person who walked into the store was asking me about it. Like I was supposed to be an expert. I was so embarrassed.
Love your blog, by the way!
Lorraine - Whoo hoo indeed.
Keen - I know what you mean! I actually got interviewed on tv for the Lewinski thing. Hey, where's your blog?
